... A new production of Dear Evan Hansen is to open at Nottingham Playhouse in September 2024 kicking off of a UK tour of 26 cities including Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Plymouth and Cardiff.
Ambassador Theatre Group Productions and Nottingham Playhouse have announced a new production of the Olivier, Tony and Grammy award-winning musical, Dear Evan Hansen, will open at Nottingham Playhouse on 9th September 2024 ahead of a major UK tour.
Directed by Adam Penfold Artistic Director at Nottingham Playhouse, the show will then visit Leicester Curve, Theatre Royal Brighton, The Alexandra Birmingham, New Victoria Theatre Woking, Leeds Grand Theatre, Liverpool Empire, Sunderland Empire, Oxford New Theatre, Northampton’s Royal & Derngate, Mayflower Theatre Southampton, Milton Keynes Theatre, Marlowe Theatre Canterbury, Bristol Hippodrome, Palace Theatre Manchester, King’s Theatre Glasgow, His Majesty’s Theatre Aberdeen, Grand Opera House Belfast, Storyhouse Chester, New Wimbledon Theatre, Wolverhampton Grand, Lyceum Theatre Sheffield, Theatre Royal Plymouth, Hull New Theatre, Wales Millenium Centre, and Theatre Royal Norwich.

This first, major, new and exciting UK production offers the opportunity to reexamine some of its contemporary themes and present this brand-new version to Nottingham and around the UK.
