NEWS: JERSEY BOYS ANNOUNCES NEW WEST END CAST

THE WEST END PRODUCTION OF JERSEY BOYS HAS ANNOUNCED A NEW CAST AS WELL AS AN EXTENSION INTO 2024.

The West End revival of the 2009 Best New Musical has announced new casting.


Written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, Jersey Boys tells the story of iconic 60’s group the Four Seasons. It charts their rise to fame and features huge hits including Sherry, Walk Like a Man, December ’63 (Oh What a Night!), Big Girls Don’t Cry, Rag Doll and Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.


The revival opened to rave reviews at the Trafalgar Theatre in 2021, and this will be the third cast to tell this story.


Luke Suri has earned critical acclaim as Frankie Valli and will continue in the iconic role. Also staying is Karl James Wilson in the role of Nick Massi which he has played continuously since the show reopened in 2021. After taking on the role earlier in the year, Peter Nash will continue as Tommy DeVito.

Joining them to complete the lineup is Declan Egan as Bob Guadio. Egan has a long history with the role having previously played the role on tour and at London’s Piccadilly Theatre. Jersey Boys is also the show that gave him his professional debut and he is thrilled to be returning to it.

Current cast members who will be staying on in their roles include Joseph Peters as Bob Crewe, Gracie Lai as Lorraine, Rosie Needham as Francine and Joey Cornish as Joe Pesci. Continuing as Swings in the production are Danny Knott and Bonnie Page. Page covers all the female roles in the show and is also Resident Choreographer.

Having played the role in the 2021 revival, Jacob McIntosh returns to Jersey Boys as Barry Belson. Kirsty Whelan is taking on the role of Mary Delgado, having previously covered the role as a Swing in the touring production.

Completing the casting is Andy Barke as Gyp DeCarlo and Oliver Tester as Norm Waxman / Hank Majewsji alongside Pearce Barron, Olly Manley, Daniel Parkinson and Matthew Lawrence who join as Swings.

The new cast are currently in rehearsals and have their first performance at the Trafalgar Theatre on Wednesday 26th July, after the current cast plays their final performance on Monday 24th July.

Alongside this casting news, Jersey Boys have also announced an extension and is now booking until Sunday 28th January 2024.
