JACK AND THE BEANSTALK

THIS FESTIVE SEASON



New Wimbledon Theatre and Crossroads Pantomimes, the World’s biggest pantomime producer, have today, [Wednesday 26 June], announced additional casting for their GIGANTIC panto JACK AND THE BEANSTALK.


Joining the previously announced Alexandra Burke and Joe Pasquale will be cabaret star Ceri Dupee and West-End performer Ria Jones.


Faaaaaaaaabulous panto dame and cabaret artist Ceri Dupree will take on the role of Dame Trot. Having performed at venues across the UK, Ceri’s portrayal of Danny La Rue in Cilla achieved acclaim and his extensive repertoire of theatre shows include Hello Dolly, Rock Hard 60s Tribute Show, Hot Stuff – the 70s Tribute Show, The Ultimate Hen Party, The Wizard of Oz and The Rocky Horror Show.


West End star Ria Jones joins the cast as The Spirit of the Beans. At the age of 19, Ria became the youngest person to play Eva Peron in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Evita. This was followed by her west-end debut in Chess and further west-end credits in Cats, Les Misérables and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.


Alexandra Burke will play Mrs Blunderbore in this GIANT pantomime adventure with comedian Joe Pasquale delighting audiences as Silly Simon.


JACK AND THE BEANSTALK is the panto you’ve bean waiting for and will delight audiences in South-West London this festive season, running from Saturday 7th December 2024 – Sunday 5th January 2025.
